Water Cannons
Water cannons have been designed and developed to service the specific demands of the mining and quarry industries. Standard stock sizes available from 75mm to 100mm units offered as manual, joystick controlled remote, radio frequency controlled remote and fully automated pre-programmable systems.
The Akron Brass Mega Monitor is a corrosion resistant monitor designed to withstand continuous operation while mounted on heavy duty equipment. Dusty, dirty, outdoor and continuous vibration applications are what this severe-duty monitor is designed to survive.
A foam induction adjustment fog nozzle constructed from 316 s/s is also available as an option. This unit can also be fitted as a manually or remotely controlled. All units are pressure tested at the time of assembly.
The Mega Spray Head Valve has been uniquely designed to disperse water and other fluids with high volume suspended solids in an even and controlled spray pattern. These specialised valves eliminate the need for auxilary butterfly, ball or knife valves. The Spray Head Valve also enables the operator to set their exact volumeric output flow and width of spray by simple manual adjustment. Spray head valves can be air or hydraulic actuated.
The valves are constructed from marine grade alloys and incorporate latest technology polymer inserts for the internal mechanical components, ensuring long wear and minimal maintenance in all working environments. The valves are available in two sizes; 2" and 3" to cater for different water capacities, pipe sizes and pump flows.
